Product Management Coaching

I work directly with vision owners on solving product management challenges such as converting a vision into something tangible while considering value, feasibility, viability, usability, and ethical risks. I also coach tangential team members, such as engineering and design leads, on collaborating smoothly and making mutually beneficial decisions. This clarity across the team on individual roles and responsibilities results in greater efficiency, fewer overlapping efforts, and a faster trajectory to success.

Product Leadership Coaching

To get your team off the ground, I can coach your head of product in developing your vision and product strategy. This includes guiding them through the product discovery and delivery processes, starting with drafting a product definition that incorporates the latest trends in the industry. I then work with the broader team to set up an execution cadence that follows best practices, such as:

  • OKRs

  • User research and target consumer outreach

  • Agile development processes throughout the broader team

  • Data-driven decision making and a/b experimentation tactics

  • Onboarding funnel analysis and optimizations (aka “growth”)

The deliverables involve guiding your team to codify the vision, strategy, and product definitions as well as a prioritized roadmap for the next few phases of growth. Supporting materials could include PRDs, research plans, OKRs, project management backlog, and experimentation processes.

Product Team Staffing Program

As your product vision takes shape, I’ll establish a hiring culture for staffing up an in-house product team, which can include training a current team member to become the product lead or spinning up an external pipeline that can properly evaluate the product needs of your team. This would involve defining the hiring process, assisting with interviews and evaluations, as well as the “closing” and onboarding. I’ll leave you with a smoothly running product team and a strong recruiting process that cultivates your unique culture.
